Black Hills Energy warns customers of reported phone scam attempts.

Black Hills Energy has received reports from customers of attempted scam calls where the customer is told their bill is delinquent and their service will be turned off if they don't pay immediately over the phone or call an 800 number and provide payment. If you receive a call requesting immediate payment, DO NOT CALL the requested number back or DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT. Customers can verify their billing status by logging into their account at blackhillsenergy.com or by calling customer service at 888-890-5554.
